Talking to Business Recorder on Tuesday here, he said that Dr Abdul Hafeez Shaikh had held detailed discussions with Etisalat management in UAE during the last two days in UAE that concluded in an understanding that the two sides would renegotiate the issues.
He said: " The Privatisation Commission is doing all in the best interest of the state". He added that in the UAE discussions the two sides agreed, in principle, to restart negotiations, and now they would meet soon after Eid-ul-Fitr holidays.
